Week 32 and Challenge 3 begins.

July 28, 2012

Two weeks ago I was at 232.6. Today I’m at 230.4. That’s not too bad considering I went to Pittsburgh last weekend and had a Primanti sandwich and lots of beer on Friday and this huge tailgate thing last Saturday and drank a lot of beer, had a lot of food that’s not so good for me and didn’t really work out at all the entire two weeks between the 8th and 22nd. But now, I’m back at it again. This week had some good warm up sessions including weightlifting and cardio. Meanwhile, I’ve eaten right all week. So it’s nice to be back in to my regular routine. Some time off from it was nice. Gave me a chance to relax about food for a while and not have to worry about workouts.

So yeah, tomorrow is the official start of Challenge 3. Can’t wait to see the results from that!

AR Weeks 2 and 3.

Yeah, sort of cheating a bit. I’m leaving on vacation tomorrow morning and thought I’d just throw this up here. Basically, I’ve stuck to food plan as much as possible. I’ve had a bit more junk than I’d like to admit, but it wasn’t enough to really throw me off. I’m now at 232.6, so I’ve stayed even the last couple weeks.

I haven’t worked out much at all. I’m hoping that after vacation and getting back in to the routine and developing a new routine with work that I can be back at it again. But yeah, a lot of days I’m going to bed at 3 or 4 in the morning after working for several hours and then waking up at 8:00 and going right back to work again. It’s hard to find time to work out and when I have time, I’m too exhausted to even give any though to working out. It sounds like I’m making excuses and I sort of am.

The plan now is to get a good week of working out starting on the 22nd. Then start challenge 3 on July 29th. Hopefully by then, things will have returned to normal a bit.

AR Week 1. Week 29.

Last week I was at 235.4. This morning I’m at 232.8. I didn’t really eat that well this past week, but I really didn’t eat a whole lot. I’ve had beer pretty much every day this past week, but I’ve also drank over a gallon of water every day because I’ve been working outside in the 100+ degree heat 12 hours a day the last four days. I’ve been so exhausted that I haven’t had the energy to work out since Tuesday morning. Anyways, I’m not sure how I’ll do this coming week.

One nice thing is that due to not lifting weights, my arms, shoulders and back aren’t as sore as they were a week ago.
