C3 W4. Week 36.

August 25, 2012

Last week I was at 227.8. This morning I’m at 224.2. How did that happen? Well, I haven’t eaten very much this week. Mostly because of work. Stuff has been going really wrong lately and I just haven’t had the time to stop and eat the last few days. So yeah, if I can get back on schedule with my eating, I could gain weight this week. Who the heck knows? I didn’t work out yesterday either. I worked pretty much from 6:00 in the morning to 8:30 at night. I’d quit if it wasn’t a family business…

I mean really, it’s tough to just up and leave when your dad can’t walk and everyone is depending on you to take care of things while he’s unable to work as much. It’s making this challenge extremely difficult. There’s the finding time to work out and eat right and then there’s the stress and tension of trying to keep everything in order at work and pulling in 12, 13 and 14 hour days…

C3 W3. Week 35.

August 18, 2012

Last week I was 230.6. This morning I’m at 227.8. I did a great job eating right and didn’t miss a workout at all. It’s been a tough week because my dad is still pretty much out of work with his injury and I’ve had to work out late at night instead.

I’m still obese according to the BMI calculator thing. If I was down to 227.6, then I’d just be overweight. I’m sure somewhere, Michelle Obama is crying.

Anyways, feeling great this morning, gonna have some bacon for breakfast. Any day where you can have bacon and pizza in one day is pretty much a perfect food day. 🙂

C3 W2: Week 34

August 11, 2012

Last week I was at 229.4. This morning I’m at 230.6. I gained a pound this week. Not a big surprise for me. It’s been a tough week. Missed meals and tried to make up for them, didn’t eat well either.

It’s been a very stressful week. My dad was in the hospital and I had to run everything pretty much by myself…

C3 W1 Week 33.

August 4, 2012

A week ago, I was at 230.4. This morning I’m at 229.2. If this was 60 pounds ago, I would have been bummed at such a small amount of loss. But I think at this point, one pound a week is probably all the progress I’m going to make at this point in time. The amazing thing for me is that I’m probably in better shape than most of the people I know and I’m still considered “obese” by the BMI chart. Another two pounds and I’ll be down to “overweight”! If that means anything.

Overall, a good week in the weightlifting department. My legs, arms, shoulders and back were all sore and I added weight since Challenge 2. I think the three weeks of Active Rest helped me be able to add weight to my repertoire. Cardio was less fun, but it usually is.
